We were just kids
And sick of the world
I wanted to be that guy
You were that girl
And I forgot the rope
That could’ve saved us both
Instead of catching
The nape of my neck
The same way
You’ll forever catch
The last of my breaths

I remember falling
Into over out
You’re the sky and ground and air
I thought I’d found my calling
But you were too good at lying
And I’m too fascinated with dying
